This family state they feel blessed? I'm thinking not in the mentality section no.
Exactly how are these people living financially for one thing? If it were in here in the UK, benefits would be severely assessed and I dare say social services would intervene after say, 10 children. Am I right in assuming that the law differs depending on the state you reside in?
Now I'm not a religious kinda gal but for the love of God man, tie a bloody knot in it!
Wow. is all I can say. I have never watched an episode but when I'm flipping through the PVR (aka Tivo) and see it come up in the programming I throw up a little in my mouth. Just a little. I know it's so wrong to feel this way because children are a blessing but sometimes, just sometimes the balance in the universe is off kilter.
I love the Duggars. They are actually financially stable - they own real estate and have been doing fairly well for some time. at least, since baby 16 anyway.
they do have some blessed fertility, but they need to stop with this nonsense. they don't avoid because god wants them to procreate, yet she had a c-section with the last kid because of the risk involved with that last birth. that selective faith is something else.
Ugh. All I could think when I heard this was "Bitch!" Completely unfair, but seriously? The universe has been unfair, to me, to all of us, so I'll say it again: Bitch!
I'm the wife of T and mother to our five year old, D, our two year old, E, and our newborn, G. When D was not quite one, our lives took an unexpected turn when we began trying to give him a sibling. We had three miscarriages in the span of one year. (September and December of 2008 and June 2009). With no real answers, but a lot of hope, we joyfully welcomed our second baby into our family in July 2010. We are now blessed to have added a third child, a boy, in December of 2012. Well, apparently that's what God wants. And God always gets what He wants, right?
:/
Hoo-frickin-ray.
I want to scream about the unfairness of this very unfair thing, but I don't even have the words for it. Poor us.
Right on, Wifezzilla.
TO be honest, that show makes me sick. I have only watched one or two episodes, and I couldn't bear to watch anymore.
I'm speechless (except for what I said above, hehe).
Those children will never have the special one-on-one time a child needs to bond with a parent. There's no special time when you're #13 or #17...
What the.....?? I'm off to google this woman.
Ok, so I googled and I nearly brought up my KFC.

Rant over.
